Marc Ayers

Marc Ayers was born and raised in San Pedro, California, and has worked for Duncan Peak Vineyards since 1984 – nearly as long as the brand has existed.

Before landing in Duncan Peak, he worked at Mendocino Brewing Company for over three years. When Marc came to Duncan Peak, he found the fermentation process truly fascinating and decided to settle down in the beautiful small town of Hopland and make wine.

Marc takes excellent care of the property and oversees everything diligently and lovingly. He loves to sip a glass of wine while he plays the Bass. Marc’s music has led him on many adventures; he has traveled from California to Colorado for hundreds of concert performances.
